Kirby: Squeak Squad Treasure Guide for Beginners

Stages contain regular and large treasure chests. Kirby must carry a chest through the goal to open it and receive the collection item inside. Replaying a chest already collected rewards a bubble item instead of the same collection item.

A large chest triggers a Squeak chase. If a Squeak steals it, follow the thief to the hideout and defeat the enemies inside to recover it. Taking damage can make Kirby drop carried chests, so create a safe lane before rushing after the thief.

Kirby can store Copy Abilities, recovery items, and other bubbles on the lower screen. Drag an item when it is needed instead of consuming it immediately. Keeping a healing item in reserve can protect a large chest during the final section of a stage.

Two compatible items or abilities can be dragged together to mix them. The result may create a stronger recovery item or a different Copy Ability, so avoid combining the only tool needed for a nearby puzzle until the route is clear.

Flashing enemies provide Copy Abilities when inhaled and swallowed. Fire, Ice, Sword, Bomb, Wheel, and other abilities interact with different obstacles. If a conspicuous enemy appears immediately before a blocked route, keep that ability long enough to test the nearby environment.

Copy Scrolls hidden in treasure chests add extra techniques to specific abilities. A newly collected scroll may turn an ability that seemed ordinary into the correct tool for another secret.

Clear a stage once to learn its doors and enemy sequence. On the replay, bring or preserve the ability that matches the suspicious obstacle and focus on one missing chest rather than checking every branch again.

When the Squeaks take a large chest, prioritize recovery over unrelated items. Reach the hideout with enough health to win the enclosed fight, then slow down so the chest reaches the goal safely.
