In Threads of Fate, you begin by selecting either Rue, who can transform into defeated monsters to use their abilities, or Mint, who relies on magical attacks. The core objective is to explore dungeons, solve puzzles, and battle enemies to progress through the story. As Rue, you absorb monster forms to gain new attacks and traversal skills, while Mint learns spells by finding items. Combat is real-time; you'll use basic attacks, special abilities, and items to defeat foes. Early on, focus on mastering your character's core mechanics and exploring thoroughly to find health upgrades and new skills. The challenge comes from boss fights and environmental puzzles that require smart use of your abilities. In tense moments, manage your health and magic carefully, and learn enemy patterns to avoid damage.
