You control Rick Taylor, a man empowered by the Terror Mask, as you fight through the monstrous inhabitants of the West Mansion. Your primary actions are punching and jumping. You move from left to right, defeating enemies like zombies and giant bosses to progress. The core objective is to survive each stage, rescue your girlfriend Jennifer, and uncover the mansion's secrets. Early on, focus on learning enemy patterns and using your basic punch combo effectively. As you advance, you'll find weapons like knives, meat cleavers, and two-by-fours that deal more damage but can break after heavy use. In tense moments, especially during boss fights, prioritize dodging attacks and striking during openings. The challenge rhythm is fast-paced, with waves of enemies requiring quick reflexes and strategic use of limited health-restoring items.
