In Spider-Man and The X-Men in Arcade's Revenge, you select from five playable heroes: Spider-Man, Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, and Gambit. Each character has unique abilities and must navigate their own themed levels filled with enemies, traps, and platforming challenges. The core objective is to defeat the villain Arcade and rescue your captured allies. Gameplay involves running, jumping, and using character-specific attacks to defeat foes and avoid hazards. Spider-Man can swing with his web, Wolverine uses his claws for close combat, Storm flies and uses weather attacks, Cyclops shoots optic blasts, and Gambit throws charged cards. Early on, focus on learning each character's movement and attack range. In tense moments, careful positioning and mastering attack timing are key to surviving enemy patterns and environmental threats.
