Your primary goal is to win rally championships by achieving the fastest times on a variety of international stages. You control a rally car from a first-person dashboard view or an external camera, navigating winding dirt, gravel, tarmac, and snow tracks. The game emphasizes realistic driving physics, so you must carefully manage acceleration, braking, and steering to avoid sliding off the road or crashing. Your co-driver provides pace notes, calling out upcoming turns and hazards, which you must listen to closely to plan your approach. In the early stages, focus on learning the handling of your car and memorizing the co-driver's calls rather than pushing for top speed. As you progress, you'll need to master techniques like left-foot braking and throttle control to maintain traction through corners. During tense moments, such as narrow sections or adverse weather, prioritize staying on the track over pure speed to avoid costly penalties for crashes or missed checkpoints.
