Your goal is to explore Dracula's castle, defeat its monstrous inhabitants, and ultimately confront the dark forces within. You control Alucard, who can attack with a variety of weapons, use magical sub-weapons, and transform into creatures like a bat or wolf to access new areas. The core gameplay involves navigating sprawling, interconnected rooms, battling enemies to gain experience and level up, and finding key items and relics that grant new movement abilities, which in turn unlock previously inaccessible parts of the map. In the early game, focus on learning enemy patterns and building your character's stats. As you progress, the challenge shifts to mastering the castle's layout, managing your resources, and strategically using your expanding arsenal of spells and transformations to overcome powerful bosses. The tense moments come from navigating treacherous rooms and surviving boss encounters that test your reflexes and preparation.
