The core objective is to progress through side-scrolling levels, defeating enemies and overcoming obstacles using Ben's alien transformations. Moment-to-moment play involves running, jumping, and attacking foes with each alien's unique abilities. A useful beginner strategy is to learn the strengths of each alien form; for example, use Four Arms for powerful melee combat and XLR8 for quick movement across large gaps. The challenge rhythm involves alternating between platforming sections and combat arenas, with boss fights at the end of key levels. In the early part of a run, focus on mastering basic controls and switching forms efficiently.
