Objective

Cross Dinosaur Land, rescue the Yoshis and Princess Toadstool, and defeat Bowser.

Controls

D-pad

Move, crouch, climb, enter doors, and aim movement

Jump button

Jump; dismount Yoshi when pressed with the appropriate shoulder action

Run / action button

Run, carry objects, throw fireballs, or use Yoshi's tongue

Spin Jump / shoulder buttons

Spin through hazards, look around, or adjust special movement

Beginner Tips

• Look for a red dot on the map; it signals that a stage has more than one exit.
• Practice cape flight in an open early level before using it above pits.
• Carry a spare power-up in the item box for castles and secret routes.
