How to Play

In Batman Returns for the Super Famicom, you control Batman through a series of side-scrolling stages, fighting members of the Red Triangle Circus Gang. Your primary objective is to defeat enemies using punches, kicks, and special attacks to progress. Each stage culminates in a boss battle against a major villain from the film, such as the Penguin or Catwoman. You can also use a limited supply of Batarangs to attack from a distance. Health pickups and extra lives can be found by breaking certain objects in the environment. The game features vehicle-based stages where you control the Batmobile or Batmissile, adding variety to the gameplay. Focus on learning enemy patterns, conserving your special weapons for tougher foes, and avoiding environmental hazards to survive.
